The Bolshevix is a four-piece band that was formed between best friends in Year 9. Since then, the band has played gigs all over Victoria, from the classic Worker’s Club in Fitzroy to the Alpine Hotel Stage at the Brighter Days festival in Bright. The band has performed at Sunday markets and Air Museums, and is no stranger to setting up and rocking out anywhere there are fans around to enjoy the show.
Through their experiences in The Bolshevix, I have learned how to set up and interface audiovisual equipment in many different settings, interact and communicate effectively with venue staff and engineers, meet deadlines and organisational objectives to ensure gigs are produced successfully, and perform confidently in front of large crowds.
The expertise I have gained is readily transferable to jobs all over the music industry.
